Original blue cloth with impressed designs on both covers. 6 1/4 X 10 inches. 880 pages. From the title page, "with four hundred engravings" of black and white illustrations throughout copy. Contents include information on Mammalia, Aves, Amphibia, Pisces, Insecta and Vermes. Foxing on many pages. A corner is missing from a page. Text and illustrations are not affected. Dampstain spots on covers. Corners and edges slightly worn. Despite foxing, pages are clean and complete. Binding is complete.
