Small tear to spine. Eugene Field wrote this poem to his friend William C. Buskett who was on his way to Kentucky to visit a young lady in whom he was interested. The poem begins: "In gallus old Kentucky where the grass is very blue, Where the liquor is the smoothest and the girls are fair and true."
