Original tan wrapper with dark blue lettering with green decorated boarder on front cover. 6 X 8 3/4 inches. 32 pages. This copy is No. 33 of 548 and is inscribed by the publisher, "To Tom Jessett, May 25, 1971, Glen Adams." Akin (1833-1880) recorded his journal when his family began their overland journey to Oregon in the spring on 1852. James Akin Jr was 19. Back cover has several small spots, however pages are very clean and complete.
