# 10800 (280). Stereograph on gray board (7 x 3 1/2 inch) with commentary on the backside about the city of Vera Cruz and its harbor. Founded by Cortes after landing on the Island San Juan de Uloa in 1518 and it was the main invasion route of the Spanish, Americans and French. Nice view of dock workers on a wharf getting ready to unload a vessel tied up to the wharf. Clean copy.
