The Gun Club Drink Book: Being a More of Less Discursive Account of Alcoholic Beverages, Their Formulas and Uses, Together with Some Observation on the Mixing of Drinks

By: Browne, Charles

Price: $750.00

Quantity: 1 available

Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good

Publisher's orange cloth binding with drawings of men and women drinking, titles in white on black background. The lightest of wear at the corners, but a very nice copy externally. Dust wrapper with some small chips at top and bottom of spine, not affecting lettering. Another chip on back cover at the bottom near the fold is about three quarter of an inch by one quarter and affects a few letters of the promotional text. Quarter sized stain on upper margin of frontispiece and title page (looking like a bourbon splash). Brown staining, this time perhaps a single malt, to fore edge and sometimes margins of pages 119-142, not affecting text. Otherwise a clean and nice copy of a much-desirable book, with no owner's signatures, no bookplates, no underlining, with joints strong, etc. 190 pages, including index.
