Circa 1880s. Dimensions 11 x 6 1/2 inches. Black and green ink, vignette of steam locomotive in a station next to a mountain and decorative border. No. 896, not issued, no stamps or signatures. Three punch holes. The Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company (AKA the 3I line) ran from Streator, Illinois, to North Judson, Indiana, and later into South Bend, Indiana, from 1881 to 1906. It eventually became the Kankakee Belt Route of the New York Central Railroad.
