Circa late 1860-early 1870. Original stereocard on orange boards. Board dimensions 7 X 3 1/4, photograph dimension 6 X 3 inches. Title is hand written at base of board. Photo is of glamorous buffet with mirrors and a beautiful chandelier. The house belonged to William C. Ralston founder of the Bank of California and financier of th Comstock Lode. Built in 1868, it has survived 2 major earthquakes.
