Included are two pages of small articles. One page is an overview of the book; the other is a short autobiography in which Crewdson describes his inspiration for writing the book. Charles N. Crewdson was an American traveling salesman who visited Europe, Egypt, and many places in the U.S. In this book, Crewdson describes his own experiences as a salesman and gives practical business and sales advice. Also included is an inscription by the author on the front end paper addressed to Charles Eugene Banks (1852-1932), who was an American newspaper editor, journalist, author, novelist, playwright, poet, orator, and historian.
