Original small broadside printed on white paper with a reprinted illustration by A. S. Palmer on the front. The illustration is a facsimile of the titular book cover and features blue and red ink. No date, circa 1944. 8" x 10." Paper is very clean and intact. Horizontal fold line at the center. A Fine copy. This broadside advertises different books. One book, How I Toured the World on Nothing, by Walter Buchler is featured on the front with Palmer's illustration. In addition to the illustration, a brief promotional summary of the book is printed at the top. The description says Buchler traveled the world by borrowing a mere $50 and later made money off of his travel writings and photographs. The summary also lists the countries Mr. Buchler visited on his tour, namely "India, Burma, Malaya, Siam, Hongkong & South China, North China, The Philippines, Java, Sumatra, Ceylon, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Canada, U.S.A. (34 States), Newfoundland, Gibraltar, Malta, Egypt, Palestine, Cyprus, Italy, [and] France." Printed text is on the back and includes another ad for Walter Buchler's travel book and three others for following books: Money in Exports, Hirayama Takes a Chance, and Bridge for All. The facsimile illustration also lists the book's publisher as Useful Publications in London, England.
