Original publisher's beige wrappers with staple binding. 5 1/2" x 8." Forty-eight pages, complete. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Slight wrinkling to the covers and a couple tiny rust marks on the front cover. Ephraim Douglass Adams (1865-1930) was an American professor and historian. His specialties were the Civil War and British-American relations. Benjamin Russell (1849-1935) was a Canadian politician, judge, lawyer, and professor from Nova Scotia. He served in the Canadian House of Commons from 1896-1900 and 1900-1904 representing the districts of Halifax and Hants, respectively. "Great Britain, America, and Democracy" was written by Adams and is printed on Pages 1-30. "Anglo-American Relations" was authored by Russell and is printed on the remaining pages. Both articles discuss British history and relations between Britain and the United States in the context of World War I.
