Original black and white photo postcard. No date, circa 1936. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2." Title printed in lower-left corner of the image. Original imprint of "Jacobson 419" on the right side of the image. Postcard is unused. Postcard is virtually pristine and intact. A Fine copy. This postcard shows a sandstone watch tower sitting atop the highest point of the San Juan Islands, Mount Constitution. The watch tower was designed by architect Ellsworth Storey and was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936. The tower has undergone restorations and still stands on Mt. Constitution to this day.
