Original black and white photo postcard. No date, circa 1920s-1930s. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2." Title printed at the bottom of the image. Postcard is very clean and intact overall. Paper is age-toned. A Very Good copy. This postcard shows a group portrait of members of the Glee Club from the Oregon Agricultural College. Under the title is the following announcement: "The Club is making a tour of southern Oregon and will appear in your city on February; Hear Them." At the top is the following text describing the Club's performances: "Popular Songs, Classical and Humorous Stunts, Quartettes, Skits, Readings, Scotch Monologues." On the back is a miniature black and white portrait photograph showing "Henry Russell, Scotch Monologist, The Famous 'Harry Lauder of the West.'" The postcard is unused but has a pencil inscription that seems to be contemporary with the year this postcard was issued. The inscription reads, "Earl is assistant Director of the Glee Club this year. Also sings 2nd tenor in the Quartette."
