Original black and white photo postcard. No date, circa 1930s-1940s. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2." Title printed at the bottom of the image. Postcard is unused. Postcard is very clean and intact except for slight age toning on the back. A Fine copy. This postcard shows Pearrygin Lake in a scenic landscape with mountains in the background. Pearrygin Lake is reservoir that was formed after the Chewuch Canal Company installed a dam in 1920 or 1921. Pearrygin Lake is located about 1.5 miles east of Winthrop, Washington. The lake was named after an early pioneer, B. F. "Ben" Pearrygin, who settled in the area during the 1880s. Today, the reservoir is part of a recreation area.
