Original lithograph card with a color illustration on front of a quaint country house in a bucolic landscape. Hazy watercolor, Impressionistic effect. The letter and numbers "B1043" may relate to copyright. No date, circa 1890s-1910s. 5" x 3 1/2." Card is very clean and intact except for a few tiny marks on front, slight age toning, and some offsetting on back. A Fine copy. This card bears some resemblance to trade cards, which are antique business cards and the predecessors of modern trading cards. Trade cards were most common during the late nineteenth century.
