Original lithograph card with a color illustration on front of a country house by a creek in a bucolic landscape. The small figure of a man is shown on a boat on the creek. The day appears overcast. No date, circa 1890s-1910s. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2." Card is very clean and intact except for a few small specks on front, slight age toning, and slightly bumped tips. A Near Fine copy. This card bears some resemblance to trade cards, which are antique business cards and the predecessors of modern trading cards. Trade cards were most common during the late nineteenth century.
