Original lithograph card with a color illustration on front of snow-covered houses in a winter landscape. Hazy, Impressionistic effect. The letter and numbers "B1043" may relate to copyright. No date, circa 1890s-1910s. 5" x 3 1/2." Card is very clean and intact overall but has slight age toning, offsetting on back, and surface chipping measuring about 2" x 1" which affects the house in the foreground. A Good copy. This card bears some resemblance to trade cards, which are antique business cards and the predecessors of modern trading cards. Trade cards were most common during the late nineteenth century.
