Very good clean copy, slight wear along the edges from use, of a view of an early Methodist Episcopal Church in its pre-fire state. Built in 1857, it was designed by W.W. Boynington, it barely survived the 'Great Fire' of October 1871 and was taken over for use by the U.S. Post Office in 1871. View more info

Full image of the temple built to honor the Grand Army under Napoleon, after his fall it was turned into a church under the Catholic backlash of the French Revolution. Very good image of the structure based on 'Maison Carree' at Nimes, one of the best preserved temples of the Roman Empire. It is surrounded by 52 Corinthian columns, 20 meters high, all the way around the building. No other tall structures surrounded it when the photo was taken. Very good clean copy. View more info
